Who Is Karan Devgan? A Look at the Brampton Entrepreneur

Karan Devgan is a Canadian entrepreneur, Commercial Real Estate Broker and community leader based in Brampton, Ontario. His work brings together business, property and community. He helps companies find the commercial space they need to grow, builds and supports ventures of his own, and gives time to the cultural and civic life of the city he calls home.

A commercial real estate broker

Karan is a Commercial Real Estate Broker with Royal LePage Flower City Realty in Brampton. He works on the commercial side of the market, not residential sales. His clients come to him for:

• Commercial investment property: plazas, industrial buildings and other income-producing assets.
• Commercial leasing: helping tenants and landlords find the right fit and negotiate terms.
• Land development: finding and assessing sites with development potential.
• Franchise site selection and business expansion: helping growing brands and operators choose locations that work.

For a growing business, location affects almost everything else: foot traffic, visibility, operating costs and how quickly new sites can open. Karan's job is to help owners weigh those factors and secure property that supports long-term growth. Learn more about his commercial real estate work.

An entrepreneur

Karan is also an entrepreneur and business development professional. His business involvement includes Penstock Workforce, Healthy Cart Canada, the Connecting Dots Foundation, Alphabet Consulting and Kappachino Cafe. His role differs from one organization to the next. The Business & Entrepreneurship page lists each one.

Running and developing businesses gives him an operator's view of property. He knows what a site needs to do for the business inside it, not just how it looks on paper.

A community and cultural leader

Karan has long been involved in Brampton's community life, through the Saath Foundation, community food programs and Preserve Arts and Culture Canada.

Culture is a big part of that work. Through Flower City Bhangra and Flower City Gidha, he supports the folk dance traditions of Punjab and gives performers and young people in Brampton a place to learn, practise and perform. Brampton is known as the Flower City, and both names reflect their local roots. See his community work.
