Karan Devgan's work doesn't fit neatly into one box. He is a Commercial Real Estate Broker, an entrepreneur and a community leader, and in Brampton those roles feed into each other. This is a look at how they connect.

Rooted in Brampton

Karan's story is tied to Brampton, one of Canada's fastest-growing and most diverse cities. Brampton's growth has been driven by families and entrepreneurs who arrived, built businesses and invested in their neighbourhoods. That spirit of building runs through everything Karan does.

Building a commercial real estate practice

As a Commercial Real Estate Broker with Royal LePage Flower City Realty, Karan focuses on the commercial market: investment property, leasing, land development, and franchise site selection and expansion.

His practice is shaped by a simple idea: the right location can make a business, and the wrong one can hold it back for years. He helps owners and investors look past the listing and ask the practical questions. Will customers find this site? Can the business afford to grow here? Does the lease protect the tenant?

Entrepreneurship

Karan doesn't just advise businesses; he works with them. His business involvement includes Penstock Workforce, Healthy Cart Canada, the Connecting Dots Foundation, Alphabet Consulting and Kappachino Cafe. That experience gives him an operator's perspective. He knows how leases, staffing, cash flow and location decisions play out once the doors open.

Culture and community

For Karan, community work isn't separate from business. It's part of the same commitment to Brampton. His involvement includes:

  • Flower City Bhangra and Flower City Gidha, supporting Punjabi folk dance traditions.
  • Preserve Arts and Culture Canada, helping keep cultural traditions alive.
  • The Saath Foundation and community food programs, supporting families who need help.

Recognition

Karan was named to the Brampton Board of Trade's Top 40 Under 40 in 2018 and received a Brampton Citizen Award in 2019. Both honours recognized his combination of business leadership and community involvement.

What comes next

Karan continues to help businesses and investors find commercial property across Brampton and the GTA, while supporting the cultural and community initiatives that matter to him. His goal is the same as always: help Brampton's businesses grow, and make sure the community grows with them.
