10+ years in the entertainment industry

Before commercial real estate, Karan Devgan built his name in Punjabi entertainment. In 2014 he founded Deep Karan Promotions, a Brampton company that promotes music, movies and live events, manages artists and runs social media and on-the-ground promotion. Since then Karan has worked on more than 50 events, bringing some of the biggest names in Punjabi music and comedy to audiences in Brampton and across the Greater Toronto Area.

From promoting shows to building community

Karan's work in entertainment covers concert promotion, artist tours, film screenings and festival events. Deep Karan Promotions has supported shows such as Diljit Dosanjh – Live in Toronto at the Powerade Centre in Brampton (2015), the Preet Harpal Canada tour, the Filmi Mela at Sheridan College in Brampton and regular DJ nights in the city. The same experience led to Flower City Bhangra in 2017 and Flower City Gidha. Both now draw teams from across North America and the UK to the Rose Theatre.

What Karan learned promoting shows still shapes how he works today: building an audience, selling out a room and earning the trust of artists and partners. He brings the same skills to his business ventures, his community work and his commercial real estate clients.
