Karan Devgan is a Canadian entrepreneur, Commercial Real Estate Broker and community leader based in Brampton, Ontario. Karan is a Commercial Real Estate Broker with Royal LePage Flower City Realty in Brampton. His practice is focused on the commercial side of the market rather than residential sales. He works with clients on commercial investment properties, commercial leasing, land development opportunities and strategic property advice.

A significant part of that work involves franchise site selection and business expansion. For a growing business, the choice of location shapes almost everything that follows: customer traffic, visibility, operating costs, lease commitments and the pace at which the business can open new sites. Karan's role is to help owners and operators weigh those factors, identify suitable properties across the Greater Toronto Area and negotiate terms that support long-term growth.

Entrepreneurship and business development

Beyond brokerage, Karan is an entrepreneur and business development professional. Community and culture

Karan has long been involved in Brampton's community life. His involvement includes the Saath Foundation, community food programs and Preserve Arts and Culture Canada.

Culture is a central part of that work. Through Flower City Bhangra and Flower City Gidha, Karan supports Bhangra and Gidha, the folk dance traditions of Punjab, giving performers and young people in Brampton a place to learn, practise and share them. Brampton is often called the Flower City, and the names of both initiatives reflect their roots in the local community.

Recognition

Karan's professional and community contributions have been recognized locally. In 2018 he was named to the Brampton Board of Trade's Top 40 Under 40, a program that recognizes emerging business and community leaders in the city. In 2019 he received a Brampton Citizen Award.
